And now a few words from me:
I understand how you could make the mistake when you first meet me but no, I’m not Tom Selleck. It’s me, Patti! I’m an 8 year old, red smooth, male who needs to shed a few pounds! What should you know about me? Well, I love sleeping in the big bed with my Foster Mom; she calls me her chunky little furnace. I also love to snuggle on the sofa and steal kisses behind her ears! And who could forget tummy rubs? Why, I can flip over onto my back for some good ol’ fashion tummy rubs in the blink of an eye! But most of all, I love playing ball! Sure, I may not always bring the ball back to you but in my opinion, that’s part of the fun! I am not a huge fan of this cold weather but I sure don’t mind a good walk! Once spring comes, let’s hit the trails together! If you’re looking for a faithful companion then look no further than me, Tom Selleck, I mean Patti!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Patti is a lovely well-natured, mature fellow who is so laid back and takes everything in stride. One of our challenges has been that he is a Francophone and I’m an Anglophone. However, once I learned a few words in French he would look at me with some excitement to hear something he understands. We add the English equivalent so he can start to make a connection. He was quick to learn to use the door jingles to let me know he needs to go out. He does enjoy to play with you – mostly chasing the ball which works in his benefit has Patti is overweight. He is on a feeding regime to support good health and we try to be as active as possible to aid in weight reduction. Other than being on the heavy side the vet confirms Patti is in good health! This boy enjoys car rides, meeting other dogs and people. He can be a little unsure around children and therefore I wouldn’t suggest a home with small children. All and all, Patti is the whole package – all he’s missing is his very own family!
