And now a few words from me:

Hello everyone, I’m Winky. I came into foster care having been found as a stray. I was in desperate need of dental care, and was in so much pain. With that behind me, I’m feeling great and have a happy-go-lucky disposition. My favorite toy is my rubber chicken and I love to carry it around with me. In fact, it doesn’t take much to make me happy: lots of cuddles, belly rubs and squeaky toys are the highlight of my day. I enjoy sleeping on a doggie bed during the day and on the big bed at night; snuggling under the blankets makes me feel content and safe. I’m a bit of an ambler on my walks so 15 minutes of sniffing, checking for critters and doing my business four times a day makes me a happy boy. If you’re looking for a senior chap who is a wee bit hard of hearing, but wants nothing more than to please you, I’m your fellow. I will bring you love and happiness to my forever home!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Winky is an amazing boy who is happily settling into his new foster home, along with his rubber chicken. He loves when you toss his squeaky toys, and he enjoys his outdoor ventures – he’s a bit slow, but picks up the pace if a critter is close by! He is very well behaved and knows many commands and hand signals. Vocal commands must be in a louder tone, as he seems to be a little hard of hearing. He is housetrained, great in the car, walks well on a leash, great with dogs and loves the big bed. Winky will do best in a house without small children, as he can’t get out of the way quickly enough. He will thrive in a home as a companion dog, with someone retired who enjoys relaxing and giving/getting love. Winky would also love another fur sibling with whom he could snuggle. This darling boy is going to make a wonderful addition to a loving furever home. He is a terrific dog.
