And now a few words from me:

Hi! Hi! Hi! I’m Domino and I can’t wait to meet you! When we meet, can you be sure to lean down so that your face is within licking distance? I’m a happy-go-lucky guy, and my most favourite thing to do is to lick your face… in fact to cover your face with kisses is my main goal in life. That and to bounce around when I run… a bit like that cartoon character named Tigger. I’m not sure why I love to bounce the way I do, but apparently it’s funny and cute because people always laugh like crazy when I do it. My foster mom and dad tell me that I’m super cute, and that my eyes are extra special because they are so expressive. Take a look at my picture and tell me if you agree. I’m really hoping to find my forever home because every day I’m not licking my forever family to tell them how much I love them is one day too many for me!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Domino transitioned into our household quickly. He likes to play with our younger dog, but is very gentlemanly about it. He is a good eater and has excellent manners around the food dish. His housebreaking is heading in the right direction, but like many doxies, he doesn’t like damp or cold weather and would prefer to sneak off and go potty inside. He has a great desire to please and really isn’t stubborn like typical dachshunds so we believe that with patient and intentional effort, he will learn to overcome his disdain of inclement weather to do his business out of doors. Overall, Domino is such a sweet guy. He literally wants to be with you at all times and although we are accustomed to lots of wiener dogs underfoot, Domino is always right there, looking up and waiting for our next move, just in case it might involve an exchange of affection. He loves to cuddle and is happy to go for a nice walk as well. The best way to describe this sweet little guy is to say he is born to love. If you would like the responsibility of giving and receiving love to and from this special little boy, he just might be for you.
