And now a few words from me:

Hi! I’m Dobby. My best friend, Albus, has been living with me since he was a puppy. We do everything together but generally I take the lead. I love to go for walks, or play, or help in the garden. Albie and I will roughhouse a few times throughout the day, and then collapse in a heap for a well-deserved nap! We sleep together in the dog bed or in the crate at night and will happily stay in the crate together if you need to leave us alone. I will bark “hello” when someone comes to the door, or if I hear a new noise, but will “leave it” if you tell me. Cuddles? Did someone say cuddles? I’m in!! I’ll happily sit on the couch with you and take turns with Albie for belly rubs and ear scratches. I’m learning the rules in my foster home and am catching on quickly. I’ll challenge my foster mom occasionally, but she’s more patient than I am so I give in and do it her way.

And now a few words from my foster family:

Dobby is a great guy who loves fun and activity. He’s enjoying exploring the garden, but he always knows where Albie is and what he’s doing. He walks well on a leash and rides happily in the car. He’ll play fetch in the house with a stuffie before ripping it to shreds. As the caretaker in this pair, Dobby was a little more hesitant when he arrived, but he warmed up quickly and has a very happy disposition. Dobby will bark at new noises and can be a bit defiant, but will quickly follow your lead if you are patient. These two dogs have a great time together. A lot of the time it’s like there’s only one dog in the house instead of two!

And now a few words from me:

Hi, I’m Albie. I’ve lived with my best friend Dobby, since I was a puppy. I’ll let him check out new situations first, but I am usually first to meet new people. After all, there’s a good chance they’ll scratch my ears and talk to me. I love to roughhouse with Dobby and snuggle up with him to sleep at night or have a daytime nap. After we eat, I usually groom Dobby, cleaning his ears and mouth. I bark occasionally, usually if Dobby starts it, but I don’t always join in. I like to go for walks or play in the garden and I’ll play a bit of fetch in the house with a stuffy or squeaky. I really love to cuddle and will sit beside you on the couch and share belly rubs with Dobby. I don’t always follow commands exactly, but I’m not defiant and I caught on quickly to the routine here. I like to make my foster mom happy, because she scratches my ears or gives me little treats.

And now a few words from my foster family:

Albie is a fun little “people pleaser”. He takes a backseat to Dobby, letting him check things out, and potentially get in trouble, before joining in. He loves to meet new people, and go for walks and rides in the car. He’s pretty used to riding on Dobby’s coattails and lets Dobby complete a task before he joins in for the praise or treat. Working with him separately is helping change that behavior. These two dogs share everything. They take turns initiating playtime. When cuddling with a human, they periodically switch positions so they both get equal belly rubs. They are great company for each other and their humans and are more entertaining than TV!
