And now a few words from me:
Hello everyone, my name is Zinc! I was surrendered to CDRO with a painful skin condition and ear infection, but with the wonderful care of my foster mom, my vet says that I am 99% better! My ear infection is gone and the hair on my belly and legs will grow back, so I’m ready to find my furever home. My foster mom says that I need to practice my leash skills, so we’re using a harness and I’m getting better at it every day. I must also learn not to gobble my food so quickly, so I’m use a special dish that forces me to slow down while I’m eating. I enjoy running free in the backyard and exploring every bit of it with my two foster sisters (I have a high prey drive ad like to chase critters). I love meeting people, big or small, and dogs too! I am very quiet unless I see a dog walking by outside, and then I bark loudly. I sleep on a doggie bed in the big bedroom, but would prefer to sleep on the big bed with you! I greet everyone with tail wags and happy kisses. If you’re looking for a furever addition, I will be your loving and loyal boy!
And now a few words from my foster family:
When Zinc came into CDROs care, he was itchy from his skin condition and in pain from his ear infection, but not once did his tail stop wagging as he greeted everyone he met lovingly. He is healing well and the hair is starting to grow back on his back legs and belly. Zinc is such a mellow boy; he’s very gentle and sweet. He loves dogs, people (big or small), backyard exploring, fetching his toys when thrown, and cuddling on the couch with you. He pulls while walking, so we are using a harness and a short leash. He also has a special bowl so he does not gobble his food too quickly. He is a very good listener and will come when called, and he knows basic commands. He really loves snuggling under a blanket in bed or on the couch, he’s not a chewer, nor does his get into things, so he has the full run of the house. Zinc is a quiet boy, but being alone makes him whine, so another fur brother or sister would be a good thing. Zinc is a boy who just wants to make you happy and will bring much love to his new family.
