And now a few words from me:

Hi there. I’m Titi and I’m an energetic, handsome little fellow. I love to go for walks and to snuggle in your lap, or lay on a pillow at your feet. I’m one of the cutest Dachshunds you will ever meet. My face melts hearts. I know how to look at you with such sweet eyes that you won’t be able to resist. That’s my canine super-power!!! I can be unsure of some situations and as a result, I need a strong pack leader who will show me that everything is just fine. In the end, I’m mostly going to be interested in being with you, but if you want me to meet people I will be nice and polite until they go home, and then, it’s me and you again – yay!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Titi is a sweet little guy who really draws his confidence from being able to trust a strong pack leader. He has attached himself to his foster daddy and will not ‘put a paw wrong’ for him. He is less trusting of other members of his foster family but is making improvements. He is a very intelligent dog and loves to please and to earn treats. He definitely needs an owner who is experienced with an anxious dog as he can behave a bit unsocially when he isn’t comfortable or isn’t getting his way. He also has mild separation anxiety and will howl for quite some time when he is left alone. Titi will need more training to be sure he is able to handle all the situations that dogs encounter, so we will be looking for a confident adopter who understands the quirkiness of the breed and will create the conditions for Titi to attain his full potential.
