And now a few words from me:

Hello my name is Billy and I’m looking for my furever home. I’m told that I’m a perfect gentleman who walks well on a leash and I really enjoy the outdoors. I’m gentle with my toys and not really that interested in them; I would rather be out sniffing different scents. I enjoy other dogs, people, children and I think I like cats but have not been up close and personal with one at my foster home. I will sing along with my fur sister, but other then that I’m a quiet boy. I love food and need a bit of work on my hand-to-mouth treats; I tend to grab, but I am a quick learner. I love snuggling on the couch with my foster mom and dad and I enjoy ear and butt scratches. I sleep on a doggie bed in the big bedroom (and would be happy for a chance to be on the big bed), and I stay there all night. If you’re looking for an easy-going, friendly, laid-back kind of guy, look no further!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Billy has been such a joy to foster! Right from the start, I could tell that he is a very well-trained boy. He is great with commands/leash walking; friendly with everyone big or small; loves other dogs; and most of all, can’t get enough of the outside. He doesn’t seem to have a high prey drive; does not seem interested in digging up the garden; and will snuggle on the couch under a blanket while enjoying some loving/belly rubs. He stays on the couch or doggie bed in the living room with his fur sister when I leave for an hour, and at the beginning there was a bit of whining and a few barks when his fur sister started to sing, but that has seemed to stop. Billy has a little bit of hair loss and dry skin around his butt due to a poor diet; it is being treated and has almost healed. The family that adopts Billy will be getting a loving, devoted family member who just wants to please.
