And now a few words from me:
My name is Sandy and I am told by everyone who meets me that I am super cute. I am a bundle of energy and love to play and fetch. I am working very hard on becoming house trained; my foster mom gets so excited when I remember what is expected of me and gives me a treat. I am a huge fan of treats and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get one! My foster brother and sister are fun to play with and are helping to teach me manners. If I can’t find the lap of someone in the house to curl up on, one of them will share their bed and let me snuggle with them. I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family goes out so I don’t get into mischief. When they are home I love to be out and exploring. Everything is new and exciting!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Sandy is a beautiful girl who is eager to learn and please. Everything is new and exciting to her. She is very smart and quick to understand what is expected of her. Her new family will need to be committed to continuing her training, as she needs to understand appropriate behaviour in certain situations. She can be quite vocal when meeting strangers. She is also a bit skittish, and will need support to help her overcome any fear she may be experiencing. She gets along well with other dogs and guinea pigs (so we assume she may like cats too). She is learning to walk on a leash and loves being outside. She is going to make her new family very happy!
