And now a few words from me:
Hi, my name is Rusty. I am so excited to get a new start in life! I am learning so much with my new foster family. My foster mom says that I’m a sweet, affectionate fellow! I can be a bit unsure when first meeting someone, and men are a bit scary to me, but my foster family is helping me overcome this. Walking on leash is strange and new to me, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’m a real snuggle-bug in the evening and will sleep through the night in my crate. If you’re looking for an active companion that is tons of fun, I’m your guy!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Rusty is a very sweet dog and is very intelligent. He has had a rough start in life, but is making huge advancements every day. Everything is new to him and he takes it all in stride. He loves children and is very loyal to them. We are working hard with him to overcome his fear of men, and slowly he is beginning to realize that they are kind and won’t hurt him. He is crate trained, often retreating to his crate on his own when he is tired or feeling overwhelmed. He is treat motived and is quickly learning what is expected of him. He will be a fantastic addition to his new family.
