And now a few words from me:
Hello there, I’m a beautiful and loving little girl that likes lots of attention. I get along really well with my two foster brothers. Because I’m deaf, my foster mom shows me that I’m a good girl by clapping, and that makes me happy. She lets me sleep in the big bed and I stay right beside her all night. I LOVE to burrow into covers to stay warm so there is always a blanket or cover near me when I sleep. I get cold really quickly when I’m outside, so I don’t stay out there very long. I feel warmer with a coat on but I don’t like the feeling of the velcro being undone when my foster mom takes my coat off. It scares me. I am sweet and friendly and looking forward to having a family of my own!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Rizzo is a wonderful girl. Because she is deaf, you must be in front of her to get her attention if you want her to do something. She is really good with housetraining but if you don’t keep her in a routine and watch to see if she goes to the door, she may have an accident in the house. Rizzo also has Diabetes Insipitus, which is managed with medication in the form of eye drops. There is information available for this. She must be kept on a schedule with her meds and she will do just fine. If she is off her medication, she will be obsessive with the amount of water
she drinks and of course what goes in must come out. She is crate trained but doesn’t like to be left alone in her crate. She walks well on leash. Once she understands what is expected of her and with a little extra care she will be a great companion. She just wants to be loved and to give love.
