And now a few words from me:

My name is Piper and I came to CDRO with my brother Shiloh. I am considerably bigger than my brother — he’s very skinny! I am the outgoing one. When I came to my new foster home, I settled in quickly and made friends with my new people and two foster sisters. They take me on lovely long walks, and although I wasn’t used to this at first, I have no problem keeping up. I’m wasn’t accustomed to being on a leash and I would pull until I made choking noises, so my foster mom put a harness on me and now I walk without issues. I sleep in my crate at night, but I love to be on the big bed in the evening and cuddle during movie time. At mealtime, my foster mom keeps a close eye on me as I eat very quickly, hoping to steal some of Shiloh’s food too. She’s on to me now, much to my dismay. I love car rides and will sleep the whole time in my crate or quietly on your lap, if I’m allowed. I can be a bit noisy when new people come into the house, but I settle down quickly, and am happy to find my way onto your lap when you sit down. I cannot wait to find my forever home and wiggle my way into your heart.

And now a few words from my foster family:

Piper is a very sweet, easy-going little guy who is happy to go with the flow. Piper is enthusiastic about life; he loves his meals, loves going to bed, loves going on walks, and is excited to get up in the morning. Even though he is the larger of the two brothers he is definitely the follower. He takes his cues from all the other dogs in the house. If they bark, he joins in, even though he has no idea what he’s barking about. Piper is very happy to curl up on your lap but is also content to lie on the floor beside you if your lap is already taken. He is the sweetest little guy and has a beautiful disposition. He will do best in a home with another canine companion.
