And now a few words from me:

Hello! My name is Macaroon, but my foster parents also call my Mack. I can be shy at first but if you’re patient with me, I’ll let you rub my ears and I might even let you rub my belly. During the day I love to play with my foster brother and snuggle with him in the sunshine. I also enjoy being on the couch snuggling with my foster brother and foster mom in the blankets. I’ve been learning about how much fun it is to play and be loved. My foster mom says I wag my tail more than ever because I’m so happy! I hope my forever home will be just as much fun and loving, if not more! The world is still very new and scary at times for me, so if you’re a patient and loving owner who will reassure me, I will love you forever!

And now a few words from my foster family:

Macaroon is a very sweet and gentle dog. He rarely barks, unless meeting a new person who has come into the house. He’s never been aggressive towards other dogs or humans. He’s also very smart and learns quickly with treats and praise. He is eager to please! Macaroon will be affectionate with those he trusts who have been patient with him. He needs a patient owner who will have a lot of time to spend with him and will shower him with love. He did not receive any human affection in his first year of life, so he’s just finding out how awesome it is to be loved! Coming from a mill, he’s very sensitive to any sudden movements or loud noises. If startled, he will quickly take flight so we keep a light-weight leash on him at all times. Keeping a leash on him while he becomes familiar with his new home will be extremely important. Another dog in the home would also be very beneficial for Macaroon to help him navigate his new world and keep him company during the day. Macaroon will be a very sweet, loving and loyal addition to the lucky family that adopts him.
