And now a few words from me:

Hi there! I’m Jasper, a handsome fellow on an adventure to find my new family! I love to cuddle with my foster mom and I get along really well with my foster brothers. That being said, I’m a little bit shy and I don’t trust men very much. I also get a little bit scared of all the new noises outside, but once I’m used to them it’s not so bad. I like to carry my stuffed toys around and hide them under my doggie beds. I’m really good at doing my business outside if I’m kept to a schedule and then I don’t get so confused. I like to sleep beside you at night in the big bed and I will stay there but if I have to, I will sleep in a crate too. Foster mom puts me in a crate when she has to go out and I don’t mind too much. Are you looking for a beautiful boy like me? It you can be kind and loving, and help me to overcome my issues with men, I will be your best snuggle bug. It may take me a few days to get used to a new family, so please be patient with me and love me lots while I adjust.

And now a few words from my foster family:

Jasper is a wonderful little boy who wants nothing more than to be showered with affection. He is a beautiful color of reds and black, with gorgeous long hair. He loves to cuddle, and will snooze on the couch for hours, snuggled up beside his foster sibling and me. He goes into a crate willingly, and will stay in the crate for some time (even overnight with another dog), but he loves the big bed most of all. Given his background, he needs a fenced yard or should be on a leash at all times if no fence, as he can be spooked very easy and will try to run to safety. Jasper would do well as an only dog or with a canine pal. Most of all, an experienced dog owner with lots of love to give would be ideal for Jasper. He is very timid with strangers and is very untrusting of men. He will growl every time they move around in the house, but he will also allow them to pet him, if they take it slowly. He has shown absolutely no aggression and is such a loving soul. Patience, time and lots of love will help him to overcome his trust issues.
