A now a few words from me:
Good day everyone! Pleased to make your acquaintance. I’m Gripette and I’m looking for my furever home. I’m glad to be out of the puppy mill since it is quieter and less crowded here. Foster mom is surprised at how well adjusted I am for a puppy mill dog. I’m okay with loud noises and sudden movements and the vacuum doesn’t even phase me! While I can be timid in new situations, I was the first one out of the crate when I got to my foster home and trusted foster mom enough to get a cuddle right away.
I love to cuddle with my foster sister and the resident dachshund. When you are out, I stay in my crate by myself. At night, I would be okay in a crate but I’d rather be in the big bed with you. Sometimes I’m under the covers but if I get too hot, I come out for a breather and then go back in.
I also love to cuddle with my human and come for pats whenever you sit down. If you are in the kitchen, I’ll come to see if anything falls off the counter that I can eat. I’m getting the hang of housetraining but it is so cold outside, my wee body gets cold quickly. Foster mom has a coat that fits me pretty well so I am warmer outside.
I have a very high prey drive so I cannot go to a home with cats, other small animals and young children. However, I would REALLY like another dog in my life to cuddle with.
