And now a few words from my foster family:
Doudoune is a Quebec puppy mill survivor and I have to tell you, she is the most cuddly, loving and snuggly dachshund I’ve ever met! We refer to her as a kissing machine and will gladly face bathe you on demand.
Doudoune would be a wonderful playmate to another energetic dachshund; a perfect companion for your current doxie. She would most likely do best in a home as opposed to an apartment because she does make noise when left alone, although settles eventually. Her housetraining is a work in progress, and once the weather improves we know she’ll get the hang of it. She is learning from her foster sisters to chase stuffed toys and chew rawhide bones.
She sleeps in the big bed all night without a peep but does snore a little. She has the sweetest disposition and is so playful with other dogs. She hugs, kisses and wags her tail whenever you address her, we think she is just too sweet.
Doudoune is a joy to foster and will make one family extremely lucky!
