And now a few words from me:
My name is Cooper. I’m a cuddly and athletic guy looking for an experienced and confident owner. It’s important that I know who my person is, as I look to my human to help me through new situations and meeting new people. I prefer a quiet household as I am very alert to sounds and get nervous when people come and go. When I’m not cuddling with my foster mom, I love to play with squeaky toys, work on my obedience, and go for long walks. I’m extremely well socialized around any type of dog, cat or horse, but I’m only really interested in playing with my human. I’m a little guy, so I need a sweater and a jacket when it’s cold, but don’t get me wrong, I’ll never turn down a good long walk!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Cooper is a high-energy, cuddly little guy. He quickly bonds to one person, and gladly sits quietly with me at work and while doing errands. He is still learning not to bark at new people, and is perfecting his loose leash walking. He needs an experienced and patient owner who is interested in continuing his training. He would be ideal for an active person who will meet his exercise needs. He is very intelligent and athletic and would be suited for many canine competitive sports. He is currently being crate trained, and sleeps quietly throughout the night. He is housetrained and never messes in the house. He would prefer a small, quiet family or single person with time to work with him on improving his confidence. He is a true gem for an active individual looking for a best friend.
