And now a few words from me:
Hey there! I am wee guy that is a handsome, fun-loving ball of awesomeness. I really do not have any bad characteristics… how can I… just look at me! I absolutely love being with other dogs, big and small! I love my humans too. Playtime is my favourite time, along with going for walks and hikes. I also love to snuggle. I am learning leash manners, and although I get distracted with everything the world has to offer, I’m learning quickly. I am crate trained, and although I was not happy about this initially, it’s really not that bad. I am able to be with children (I prefer over the age of 5), although they will need to be patient with me while I start to understand them better – it helps to have the adults in the house give us all the rules. I’m ready for my new home whenever you are!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Bazza is a true dachshund puppy that is quickly learning everything he can about the world. He recovers well in new situations and experiences when corrected and given instruction. He needs a family that will give him structure and boundaries for confidence building. He barks at new humans but is learning to take cues from foster mom on introductions. He can live in a house that has dog-experienced children, but not toddlers. It will be important that the children assist him to learn and train, while he teaches them about what it is like to be a puppy.
