And now a few words from me:
Bart is my name and playing with balls is my game!!!! I love to play ball with my human. I will push it to you for you to throw, and then I will return it to you over, and over again. I am a great boy who is confident and not shy when investigating my world or home. My nose leads to me to many interesting things. I like to have rules and boundaries to guide me, because otherwise, I think I need to be on guard, which can cause me to be protective of my house. I do like other dogs, but I get worked up when there are a lot of them. I’m comfortable being an only dog, although if you have a dog already, that’s fine too, it’s just that I’m not dependent on having other dogs in my life. Looking for a fun companion? Let’s ‘have a ball’ together!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Bart is an awesome boy who needs a human that is as confident as he is. He is not aggressive in behavior, but if you give him an inch, he will take a mile. He is great off-leash and has good recall once bonded. He loves to play with his ball. He will get into mischief if left alone in the house… garbage cans and recycling bins are fun for him. He is crate-trained, knows basic commands, loves to go for car rides, and will happily cuddle in your lap to watch TV. He’s a terrific little guy, and if you think you can provide him with the structure and routine he requires, he will quickly find a place in your heart.
