And now a few words from me:
Well hello there! I’m Armani… yes, as in the designer, that’s for sure. I’m a very good-looking guy and my foster mom says I have two very distinctive traits… I have a bionic tail (when I wag it, it goes so fast you can hardly see it!) and very large floppy ears. Oh, and she says I’m about as long and wiener-y as they come. I don’t know about that, but hey, isn’t that why they call us wiener dogs? I really like to snuggle and cuddle up with my foster parents and although I like to be in the big bed (I sneak there in the morning), I am fine with sleeping in a crate at night. I am a little timid, but my foster mom thinks I’m becoming more confident every day. I like that, and I hope I’ll find my forever family soon so that they can keep helping me build my confidence.

And now a few words from my foster family:
Armani is a great little dog and a classic-looking dachshund. He’s a bit under-weight and we are working to help him gain a pound or two. Unlike most dachshunds, he’s not that food-motivated. He’s a relatively uncomplicated guy, although as he becomes more confident, we are seeing a bit of classic dachshund stubbornness. He’s doing really well with his housetraining and he only makes the occasional mistake if we have missed a sign, or aren’t exactly on schedule with his bathroom breaks. He barks when he is excited and it is quite high-pitched, so if you are considering him as an apartment dog, be prepared to spend time training him to express his enthusiasm in other ways. Armani is a sweetheart and will be a joy for his lucky adopters.
